SOLARESS™ uses personal information only for legitimate website, enquiry, project-assessment, customer-support and measurement purposes described below. This page explains what the website may collect, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.
Information you may provide
When you submit a solar enquiry, the website may collect information such as your name, phone number, city or location, consumer type, electricity-bill range or amount, roof type, project stage, target timeline, preferred contact time, project notes and other details you voluntarily enter.
The ROI calculator may use details you enter to produce a planning estimate. Calculator outputs are estimates and are not a binding quotation, subsidy determination or guaranteed financial return.
How enquiry information is used
- To respond to your solar enquiry and contact you about project feasibility.
- To prepare or discuss system-sizing, technical, commercial or site-assessment inputs.
- To understand which website pages or campaigns generated an enquiry.
- To protect the enquiry flow from spam, abuse and failed submissions.
Netlify Forms
The website uses Netlify Forms to receive qualifying enquiries. Form submissions may therefore be processed and stored by Netlify as the website hosting/form infrastructure provider, subject to the site's Netlify configuration and Netlify's applicable service terms and privacy practices.
Browser draft fallback
If the website cannot confirm delivery of a contact-form submission, it may temporarily keep a copy of the enquiry in your own browser storage so the information is not lost while a WhatsApp fallback is offered. The website clears that draft after confirmed form delivery where the browser permits it. You can also clear browser site data at any time.
Analytics and advertising measurement
The website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags. These services may receive technical and interaction information such as page paths, browser/device information, campaign parameters and conversion events. SOLARESS™ does not intentionally send names, phone numbers or free-text enquiry content to Google Analytics through its configured event tracking.
WhatsApp and telephone
If you choose a WhatsApp or telephone action, that interaction is handled by the relevant communications provider and your telecom/device environment. WhatsApp is optional for successfully delivered Netlify enquiries and is used by the website as a fallback when form delivery cannot be confirmed.
Data minimisation and sharing
SOLARESS™ aims to collect only information reasonably useful for the solar enquiry or project assessment. Information is not intended to be sold. It may be handled by service providers that support hosting, forms, analytics, advertising measurement or communications, where needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries.
Retention
Enquiry information should be retained only as long as reasonably required for enquiry follow-up, project discussions, record-keeping, dispute prevention, legal obligations or operational needs. Actual provider-side retention can also depend on the configuration of services such as Netlify.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit the enquiry form, not to use WhatsApp, and to manage cookies/site data through your browser. You may also contact SOLARESS™ to request correction or deletion of enquiry information where applicable, subject to legitimate record-keeping or legal requirements.
Security
Reasonable technical and operational controls are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised access or misuse, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
