Privacy Policy

SOLARESS™ uses personal information only for legitimate website, enquiry, project-assessment, customer-support and measurement purposes described below. This page explains what the website may collect, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Information you may provide

When you submit a solar enquiry, the website may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, city or location, consumer type, electricity-bill range or amount, roof type, project stage, target timeline, preferred contact time, project notes and other details you voluntarily enter.

The ROI calculator may use details you enter to produce a planning estimate. Calculator outputs are estimates and are not a binding quotation, subsidy determination or guaranteed financial return.

AMC enquiry information

AMC enquiries may include your customer or facility type, solar system configuration, capacity and age, city/state/PIN code, installer-support status, support request and notes. We use these with your contact details to assess the enquiry, arrange follow-up and prepare any requested assessment or proposal. Please do not submit passwords, sensitive identity documents or complete electricity bills.

Partner applications

Partner applications collect your business contact name, organisation, work email and phone, preferred partner channel, city/state, relevant experience and optional website. SOLARESS uses these details to review suitability and contact you about the application. Do not submit customer contacts, passwords, identity documents or bank details. Receipt does not appoint a partner or agree commercial terms.

Partner applications are processed through Netlify Forms. They are not added to marketing lists without separate permission. Unsuccessful or inactive applications are reviewed for deletion 90 days after submission, except for necessary legal, dispute or record-keeping needs. Active partner records follow the agreed relationship and applicable retention requirements. You may withdraw further application-contact consent or request correction/deletion through the privacy contact below.

How enquiry information is used

• To respond to your solar enquiry and contact you about project feasibility.
• To prepare or discuss system-sizing, technical, commercial or site-assessment inputs.
• To understand which website pages or campaigns generated an enquiry.
• To protect the enquiry flow from spam, abuse and failed submissions.

Solar planning estimates

The calculator sends only your property category and monthly electricity consumption to a SOLARESS endpoint hosted on Netlify to calculate indicative planning options. It does not send your bill image, extracted bill text, name, phone number or address with this calculation request. The endpoint does not create an enquiry or store these inputs in application records. Netlify may process technical request information as the hosting provider. Contact details are submitted separately only when you choose to request follow-up.

Netlify Forms

The website uses Netlify Forms to receive qualifying enquiries. Form submissions may therefore be processed and stored by Netlify as the website hosting/form infrastructure provider, subject to the site's Netlify configuration and Netlify's applicable service terms and privacy practices.

Enquiry acknowledgements

For AMC enquiries and partner applications, SOLARESS™ may use Hostinger Email as its email delivery provider to send a receipt acknowledgement to the email address supplied in the form. The acknowledgement contains only the minimum information needed to confirm receipt and explain the follow-up process.

Browser draft fallback

If the website cannot confirm delivery of a contact-form submission, it may temporarily keep a copy of the enquiry in your own browser storage so the information is not lost while a WhatsApp fallback is offered. The website clears that draft after confirmed form delivery where the browser permits it. You can also clear browser site data at any time.

Analytics and advertising measurement

The website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags. These services may receive technical and interaction information such as page paths, browser/device information, campaign parameters and conversion events. SOLARESS™ does not intentionally send names, phone numbers or free-text enquiry content to Google Analytics through its configured event tracking.

WhatsApp and telephone

If you choose a WhatsApp or telephone action, that interaction is handled by the relevant communications provider and your telecom/device environment. WhatsApp is optional for successfully delivered Netlify enquiries and is used by the website as a fallback when form delivery cannot be confirmed.

Data minimisation and sharing

SOLARESS™ aims to collect only information reasonably useful for the solar enquiry or project assessment. Information is not intended to be sold. It may be handled by service providers that support hosting, forms, analytics, advertising measurement or communications, where needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries.

AMC and partner pages use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-W2V6VPY5NY) to measure page visits, contact-link clicks and confirmed form receipt. Google Analytics may use cookies and process device, browser and network information. Our custom events do not include submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers or enquiry text; the page URL is sent without query parameters or fragments. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled for this page setup. Tracking is disabled on previews and local copies, and when the browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can manage or block cookies and tracking through your browser.

For India-wide AMC delivery, SOLARESS™ may coordinate approved site work through a qualified regional service partner while remaining accountable for the agreed customer scope. Before sharing contact or site details for a partner visit, SOLARESS™ will inform the customer and limit disclosure to the information reasonably necessary for scheduling, safety, assessment and documented service delivery.

Retention

Enquiry information should be retained only as long as reasonably required for enquiry follow-up, project discussions, record-keeping, dispute prevention, legal obligations or operational needs. Actual provider-side retention can also depend on the configuration of services such as Netlify.

AMC enquiries that do not progress to an assessment, proposal, contract or active service discussion are reviewed for deletion 90 days after submission, except where a longer period is required for a customer request, dispute prevention, record-keeping or legal obligations.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to submit an enquiry or use WhatsApp, and manage cookies or site data through your browser. To withdraw consent for further enquiry contact, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy complaint, email info@solaress.in or call +91 84959 51986. Include enough information to locate your enquiry. Do not send identity documents unless a necessary verification method has been agreed.

SOLARESS will review your request and explain any applicable legal or record-keeping restriction. Withdrawal of enquiry-contact consent does not itself cancel an accepted service contract; service cancellation follows the agreed terms.

Marketing, customer testimonials and publication of service photographs require a separate permission process. Testimonials and service-photo publication are currently on hold.

Security

Reasonable technical and operational controls are used to reduce the risk of unauthorised access or misuse, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the website, service providers or processing practices change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
